What is sublative rejuvenation?
Sublative rejuvenation is a laser procedure designed to help improve the appearance of wrinkles, superficial skin discoloration, and skin texture. It is a treatment that helps diminish some of the signs of aging.
How does sublative rejuvenation work?
Sublative rejuvenation works by delivering bipolar Radio Frequency (RF) energy into the deep dermis of the treatment areas. The RF energy generates fractional deep dermal heating and causes the body to think that there has been a skin injury, therefore causing a wound healing response. As the body repairs itself you are left with more elastic and smooth skin with a significant reduction in skin discoloration and mild to moderate wrinkles.
Is sublative rejuvenation safe?
Sublative rejuvenation is safe and effective for all skin types.
Does the treatment hurt?
The treatment is generally handled well by patients and they describe it as a warm, prickly sensation. As every patient is different, pain tolerance changes from patient to patient. Topical anesthetic ointments may be used to help minimize pain.
Where can you get sublative rejuvenation?
The face, neck, and hands are the most commonly treated regions for sublative rejuvenation. These are three of the more universally known areas where it is difficult to hide the signs of aging.
How many treatments will you need to see results?
Many patients will see a result after the first treatment; however, packages of three are generally necessary to achieve the best results. The treatments are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
