What is Velashape II?
Velashape II is a non-invasive laser treatment designed to provide circumferential and cellulite reduction. Areas that can be treated with Velashape II include: abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and arms.
How Does Velashape II Work?
Velashape II is FDA approved and does not require any “down time” when receiving treatments. A patient can have their treatment and then return to regular daily activities immediately following their procedure. Velashape II is a laser that uses bipolar radio frequency in order to provide electrical stimulation to the cells as well as optical energies which are utilized to provide heat to the area. Velashape II uses a vacuum suction in order to deliver treatment. The treatment does not hurt and most patients compare it to receiving a deep tissue massage.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments a patient receives can vary depending on the needs of the patient; however, most patients will require 4-6 treatments in order to get their optimal result from Velashape II. Patients must come in for their treatments every week and the length of treatment varies depending on the size of the area being treated.
Do I Need to Make Any Changes to my Lifestyle?
Patients do not have to make lifestyle adjustments while receiving the Velashape II treatment; however, adding exercise and eating properly will enhance the treatment outcome. There are a few contraindications that should be considered when getting this treatment such as: if a patient has metal implants in the area that will receive treatment, and your BMI index should be around 30 to get the best result.
